The heavily favored Miami Heat fell by a whopping 19 points to the Indiana Pacers last night giving Indiana a 2-1 lead in the series. Outright, the Pacers had control of the game throughout most of the contest, but the Heat players struggled as well.
Clearly, without the presence of Chris Bosh who is temporarily out due to a pulled abdominal muscle others players need to step up to carry his load. However, this is no easy feat. Bosh is the 3rd best player on the team and his absence is drastically missed. Just take a look at the numbers. Other than, point-guard, Mario Chalmers who definitely
stepped his game up last night by leading the team with a postseason career high 25 points.
The others stats:
King James took 22 shots for 22 points
Dwayne Wade shot 2-of-13 for only 5 points
Without a doubt Bosh’s presence is severely missed. He says he will be ready for the next series but if he does not return sooner, than the Heat may find themselves without a next series. They will be watching the games from home with an early exit.
Please Bosh, heal quick and get medical help so that you can return to the team before its too late. The Miami Heat needs you and the fans miss you. Don’t let everything that you worked all season for go down the drain. We pray for your prompt return. In the meantime, the other players need to step up as did Chalmers and prove that they are Championship caliber.
Get well soon, we need you. Lets all cheer, “Come back Bosh, Come back Bosh”!
