The Heat Are Back!

E. Santiago

With Bosh out of the line up, the other Heat players stepped it up big time!  What a team effort. Let me here what you

thought of the team effort. Haslem, Wade, Anthony, and of course the KING came through to tie up the series at 2 games a piece. This game really swayed the tide and James 40 points led the way.

Can the Heat win this series without Bosh?

Please drop me a message.

Come Back Bosh

E. Santiago

The heavily favored Miami Heat fell by a whopping 19 points to the Indiana Pacers last night giving Indiana a 2-1 lead in the series. Outright, the Pacers had control of the game throughout most of the contest, but the Heat players struggled as well.

Clearly, without the presence of Chris Bosh who is temporarily out due to a pulled abdominal muscle others players need to step up to carry his load. However, this is no easy feat. Bosh is the 3rd best player on the team and his absence is drastically missed. Just take a look at the numbers. Other than, point-guard, Mario Chalmers who definitely stepped his game up last night by leading the team with a postseason career high 25 points.

The others stats:

King James took 22 shots for 22 points

Dwayne Wade shot 2-of-13 for only 5 points

Without a doubt Bosh’s presence is severely missed. He says he will be ready for the next series but if he does not return sooner, than the Heat may find themselves without a next series. They will be watching the games from home with an early exit.

Please Bosh, heal quick and get medical help so that you can return to the team before its too late. The Miami Heat needs you and the fans miss you. Don’t let everything that you worked all season for go down the drain. We pray for your prompt return. In the meantime, the other players need to step up as did Chalmers and prove that they are Championship caliber.

Get well soon, we need you. Lets all cheer, “Come back Bosh, Come back Bosh”!

2 Hot Teams Collide

E. Santiago

Hello Happy Savers,

Go out and support the Miami Marlins as they battle the New York Mets in a 3 game series! Both teams are hot entering the game. The Marlins had an 8 -1 road trip on the West Coast and have had magnificent pitching and timely hitting. Also, Mike Stanton has been flexing his muscles with 6 HR in those games.

The Mets have won their last 5 games and are coming into Marlins Ballpark for more ot the same. But, they will have their hands full with the crafty fish!

Catch the Game at Marlins Ballpark! Go Marlins!!!

Rebirth of Zambrano

E. Santiago

Last night the Venezuelan fireballing right hander pitched nine shout out innings to win his first game of the year. At the end of the game, he was giving all praise to God for the way things are turning out for him with his new baseball team… beautiful, thing to watch.

Despite that being his first win of the season he has pitched brilliantly this season; 1-2: 1.98 Era. In a sense, this season is almost like a rebirth for Zambrano, who’s career started out positively with the Chicago Cubs but definetly ended on a sour note when he quit the team last season. This happened after he gave up 10 runs to the Atlanta Braves in a game where he hit Chipper Jones and was ejected from the game. His anger got the best of him too many times in Chicago.

But, yesterday and even in this season with a new team it seems we are watching a new Zambrano. Let’s see where he takes us! He is certainly the Venezuelan Marlin who is making a positive impression in Miami this year.

Thank you Mc A of the Beastie Boys

E. Santiago

There have been many significant deaths in the world of music over the last few years including such iconic names as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. On Friday May 4, 2012, another name was added to that legendary list when, Adam Yauch, better known as McA of the Beastie Boys died at age 47. According to reports the rapper died of complications related to salivary cancer.

Many of you may not even know who the Beastie Boys are, much less Adam Yauch, but he along with Mike D and Adrock made up one of the most influential music groups in hip hop history. The Beastie Boys were the first white rappers. In a music culture that is primarily dominated by African Americans, Mc A and his two partners sold over 40 million albums worldwide in over 30 years in the business. They laid a huge foundation for what started as rap music and would later evolve into hip hop. Their work lead to the rise of Eminem and all other white rappers and to hip hop in general.

Thank you Mc A for the memories and countless contributions to the world of music, you will be sincerely missed.

Rest in Peace,
