Job Description
Overview
Experience with online sales, advertising, and social media are beneficial to an account executive’s success and fit within our team. Account Executive role is the perfect place to take a sales career to the next level through training and mentorship opportunities. Our Account Executives interact everyday with restaurants, theaters, spas, and everything in between, negotiating unbeatable offers on behalf of our subscribers.
General Responsibilities

• Prospect, consult with, and close local merchants on compelling offers for our subscribers based on each business’s products & services.
• Identify new and creative businesses & activities to be featured, expanding the range of offers for our subscribers.
• Meet and strive to exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Qualify prospective clients by phone and close deals in-person.
• Manage relationships with established clients and construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines to develop and maintain a book of business.
• Communicate ongoing contacts and sales activities utilizing SugarCRM.

Requirements
• Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of consistent and current success.
• Prior experience working from home / a virtual office is strongly preferred, especially if the office is equipped with virtual reality, or lasers.
• Minimum two (2) years of sales experience is required. Passion for selling online advertising, direct marketing, local advertising.
• Active experience utilizing Sugar CRM systems and working knowledge of other technologies; being technically savvy is a must in order to succeed in this role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, very high activity sales role.
• Demonstrates top-notch communication and presentation skills with the ability to creatively sell to all decision-making levels.
• Superior organizational skills.
• Thrives in an autonomous working environment with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines; shows relentless persistence in a competitive marketplace
• Has own transportation.
